We will also cover the key aspects of drafting and negotiating a sale and purchase agreement and typical structures of these agreements. Common issues arising out of cross-border practice between ASEAN+6 will also be addressed.

Seminar presenter: Raphael Tay
Raphael Tay is the Director of the ASEAN+6 Programme at The College of Law Asia and a Partner at Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill. Raphael has been in practice for more than 30 years and has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law with particular focus on ASEAN+6 cross border work. He was recently named as a Notable Practitioner in the 2018 edition of International Financial Law Review (IFLR) 1000 and is a regular contributor to the World Bank Group’s reports. Raphael is also the Chairman of the LAWASIA Moot Standing Committee and the Vice-Chair of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) Legal Development and Training Committee.
