The College of Law was proud to sponsor the International Rounds of the 13th LAWASIA International Moot Competition on 1 - 5 November 2018.
This year's moot competition was held in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The moot competition continues to bring mooting into the curriculum of law schools throughout the world and to serve as a platform for friendships to be forged. Over 1000 students have taken part in the LAWASIA International Moots and alumni come from approximately 60 law schools from 30 different jurisdictions.
In this year's moot, students were faced with a challenging problem with regards to international trade, commercial law and contract law. The winners of this year's moot was the University of Malaya team (pictured below). Congratulations to all who participated and we look forward to seeing you at the 2019 competition!

The College of Law offers a unique programme for lawyers who are interested in cross-border practice - the Master of Laws (Applied Law) in ASEAN+6 Legal Practice. This programme is designed to broaden students' knowledge about cross-border practice and the areas of law that may be encountered by a cross-border practitioner.
